Standard Features
- Available in a package with the EOS 50D camera, ALL Canon, Sigma & Tokina lenses, Inon Z240 strobes, Ultra Light strobe arms, SanDisk CF cards (Ultra II/Extreme III/Extreme IV are all stocked), Pelican cases. Please let us know your lens/es and other items so we can cost a package up for you & to your requirements.

- approx 22 controls for essentially TOTAL control over the 40D/50D cameras.
- Full machined alloy construction.
- Fully hard coat anodised.
- 2 x Nikon 3 pin flash sockets or optional 1 x Subal S6 6 pin & 1 x Nikon 3 pin flash sockets.
- 2 x strobe arm mounts with Subal T plates fitted. T plates can be removed and optional Ultra Light BA-SU shoes fitted, if required.
- Top mount accessory shoe with M6 stainless steel thread fitted. As standard on all Subal SLR housings.
- Colour monitor window, shaded. Allows you to view your images and preview them before you finish your dive. This should mean practically that you will only have good to excellent photos left when you finish the dive.
- Standard full frame, optical GLASS viewfinder, with small rubber protection ring. Allows for pretty close corner to corner viewing, but importantly keeps the viewfinder quite large.
- Optional GS180 viewfinder. It is very much like the old Nikon ACTIONFINDERS from the F5 (DA30) or F4 (DA20). It can be both factory fitted or fitted by us at a later date.
- Optional WS45 viewfinder. It is very much like the old Nikon ACTIONFINDERS from the F5 (DA30) or F4 (DA20). It can be both factory fitted or fitted by us at a later date.
- 'Quicklock' closing mechanism. Allows for fast and sure opening and closing of the housing without the use of any tools.
- Camera mounts to a sliding platform, that effortlessly slides into the precise position, meshing and lining up with all the controls.
- The housing is 'sculptured' around the camera and as a consequence is only slightly larger than the EOS 40D/50D itself.
- Left grip and right strap handles.
- Body cap.
- All controls labelled.
- A very compact, visual moisture detector that flashes a bright 5mm red light. Lithium battery is removeable.
- Weight - approx 2.1kg - housing body only with standard viewfinder and handles fitted.
- Weight - approx 2.6kg - housing body only with GS180 actionfinder and handles fitted.
- Rated to 70 metres/210 feet.
