INON D2000 'type 3' :: INON Z240 'type 3' STROBES
- Very Important News & Information -
- ALL Nexus D80 housings that Sea Optics are supplying from June 2008 are coming standard with dual Inon fibre optic cable holders.
- The Inon compatible holders give you the opportunity to finally get rid of the traditional 'wired' cables and utilize Inon's magnificent fibre optic system. In opting for the Inon system you get mulitple strobe TTL, TTL with flash exposure compensation and 13 manual power steps. This TTL system does not have a 'master' flash like cabled systems and therefore you can have as many strobes hooked up as practically possible and they all remain as TTL strobes. The compatible strobes from Inon are the S2000, D2000S 'type 2', D2000 'type 2', D2000 'type 3', Z240 'type 2' and Z240 'type 3' - both the D2000 & Z240 strobes come as standard with a built in focusing/aiming light.

- The flash system is amazing in it's simplicity, reliablility & cost. It provides an enormous amount of choice in control, they are very compact, easy to use, have the ability to be very powerful, whilst still providing very low power outputs when you need that to. The best thing with this system is that it is WATERPROOF and there is no 'electrical communication' between the camera and the strobes. The Nikon D80 thinks that the pre-flash/es that it is 'reading' from for it's TTL flash exposure is in fact from it's own flash and yet it is provided by your Inon strobe or strobes. This system has been enormously successful for Inon, (and Sea Optics), with all compact digital systems and we are now finally offering this magnificent flash system with a professional grade alloy housing and mid priced SLR camera. In my opinion this is the single biggest advancement for underwater photography since auto focus and it will revolutionize underwater photography for those who choose to invest in this system and also believe that this truly works. It is amazing to witness it in operation.
